What Is the Clothing Closet?
It's a way for Burke Centre
and Burke area adults to obtain free
clothing
that will enable them to dress and interview for the highest-paying employment
possible. We call it "gently used" business, professional, and career clothing
because we require it to be of high quality. Any day the Closet is open,
any limited-income resident of our community may choose a number of outfits
from its high-quality stock.
When is the Clothing Closet for Women and Men open and where?
It opens for business once every three or four months, in Burke
Centre Woods Community Center. It's openings are announced ahead of
time, by flyer. It usually opens on a Sunday from 10 am to 2 pm.
